Position Overview

The Nurse Delegated Coordinator role at KIM is at the heart of our commitment to the well-being of our clients. As a Nurse Delegated Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in providing support to clients on your caseload, especially those requiring nurse-delegated and other medically intensive tasks. Your work will help our clients achieve their goals while adhering to residential guidelines.

Responsibilities

As a Nurse Delegated Coordinator, your responsibilities encompass a wide range of duties that are crucial to the well-being and progress of our clients. These include:

Acknowledging and advocating for the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect.
Identifying areas of change that clients on your caseload would like to achieve.
Coordinating individualized programs for clients and documenting activities thoroughly.
Accompanying clients on outings and activities.
Transporting clients to and from all agency activities or arranging transportation services as appropriate.
Assisting with client money management, including petty cash, receipts, checkbooks, and EBTs.
Supervising clients to ensure adequate safety.
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients, including essential activities of daily living (ADLs).
Administering medications to clients and documenting accordingly, including nurse-delegated tasks.
Ensuring adequate health care for each client and accompanying them to health appointments, providing appropriate documentation.

Work Schedule

The Nurse Delegated Coordinator role at KIM may require flexibility. Your schedule may include:

8-hour shifts
Day shifts
Evening shifts
Holidays
Monday to Friday
Night shifts
Overtime
Weekends as needed

Location

This role is primarily an in-person position, ensuring that you provide direct support to our clients within their residential environment.
