Join Our Team as a Support & Recovery Advocate

At Kittitas Interactive Management (KIM), we are committed to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support & Recovery Advocates. As a Support & Recovery Advocate (SRA), you’ll play a pivotal role in encouraging personal growth and providing daily living support to our clients. Your work will focus on recovery-based support, helping clients move towards Community Protection (CP) graduation and following their therapist’s Treatment Plan.

Position Overview

As a Support & Recovery Advocate at KIM, you’ll be a driving force in promoting recovery, personal growth, and well-being among our clients. Here’s an overview of your responsibilities:

Empowering Clients

Acknowledge and advocate for the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect.
Teach valuable emotional and behavioral regulation techniques.
Collaborate with clients to achieve goals outlined in their therapist’s Treatment Plan.
Develop action plans based on their Treatment Plan and suggest different actions when necessary.

Recovery & Progress

Evaluate clients’ advancement toward goal actualization.
Collaborate with the client, therapist, and CP Program Manager to identify triggers and provide positive behavior support techniques.
Encourage continued and sustainable progress.
Coordinate goal setting and report progress to clients and the management team.

Essential Support

Coordinate individualized programs for clients and maintain thorough documentation.
Assist with client money management, including petty cash, receipts, checkbooks, and EBTs.
Supervise clients to ensure their safety.
Maintain a safe and clean environment in which our clients live.

Healthcare and Well-Being

Ensure adequate health care for each client.
Ensure clients have access to regular meals.
Transport and accompany clients to and from all agency outings, activities, and health appointments.
Provide appropriate documentation for each appointment to management in a timely manner.
Administer medications to clients and maintain accurate records (if applicable).

Qualifications and Benefits

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about promoting recovery and supporting our clients in achieving their goals. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a competitive salary ranging from $18.50 to $19.50 per hour. Work Schedule

Support & Recovery Advocates at KIM may work on various shifts, ensuring clients receive support when they need it. Your work schedule may include:

Day shifts
Evening shifts
Monday to Friday
Night shifts
Weekends as needed

Location

This role is primarily an in-person position, enabling you to provide direct support to our clients within their homes and the community.
